Firewalking

Firewalking events

– The 2024 Goddess Firewalk –

Saturday 19th October at the Clophill Centre

Start time 4:15 pm.

A joyous and empowering night for women.

Tonight we’ll bring the energy of the goddess in all her forms to inspire your dreams, heal and empower.

This is the evening when you reconnect with your beauty, your courage and your heart’s truth as we unite with the passion and beauty of Fire: dance, drum, dream and walk.

As the October supermoon watches over us we will celebrate with laughter and love and you will each leave nourished by the goddess aspect that you call into your life to support and guide you.

I look forward to welcoming you and sharing this evening.

For more information and bookings contact Sheelagh Keddie on harmony@sheelaghkeddie.com    or on 07752828303

Bring or come in whatever clothes inspire the Goddess in you. Be as outrageous as you desire!! There is no such thing as a Goddess with too much bling.

And bring your drum if you want to drum.

For this ceremonial Firewalk the exchange is £60 or £55 each for 2 or more booking together.

Firewalking – What!

I was never going to walk on hot coals. It seemed utterly illogical – until I did it! And then I did it again and again with the other brave souls who that evening were finding depths of courage, focus and trust, personal strengths that we then took into our daily lives.

So why Firewalk? Quite simply because this ancient tradition practised all over the world brings such profound benefits and – is fun!

You face your fears and turn them into energy,

you let go of limiting beliefs,

you walk for what you want to achieve in your life,

you walk for healing for yourself and others,

you walk because deep inside you is a connection with the transformative power of Fire

When I stopped listening to that inner voice that said’ I can’t ‘and I walked, then danced across the coals I realised I wanted to share this and so I studied with Peggy Dylan of Sundoor to become a Certified Sundoor Firewalk Instructor and Master.

Since then I’ve incorporated firewalking as part of the workshops I give to enable people to find strengths and courage in themselves and joy in being alive and part of this beautiful universe.

I see Firewalking as an aid to living our lives more fully, to exploring what limits us, to manifesting the gifts given to us by our ancestors and to creating the lives we are born to live.

How do you get to Firewalk with me?

I offer both public and private Firewalks. I keep the numbers small so that you have the space and freedom to walk as many times as you want. I create a safe space for you to discover your true strengths and then – it’s your choice.

Public Firewalks

These  I hold from time to time with a focus on celebrating the turn of the year or for other major intentions. You can find these on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063454031524

or by contacting me directly.

Public Firewalks have included:

the Celtic festivals of Imbolc, Beltane and Samhain where ancestral and elemental energies fill us and inspire us

Goddess Firewalks to celebrate the joy of being female where with laughter, bling, and joy we dance with female energies, and find the goddess spirit in each of us;

Firewalks for connection with Pachamama and deep Earth Dreaming.

In 2022 I was commissioned to hold a workshop and Firewalk on Father’s Day to honour the men in our lives. It was one of the most moving and powerful workshops I’ve ever held and I honour the men and women who gathered to acknowledge the enlightened masculine and the joys and difficulties of being a man today.

Private Firewalks

Have you a dream which can be inspired and supported by the transformative power of the Firewalk? Can you see yourself with family and friends getting together in a unique evening which allows you to explore your dreams and celebrate your gifts.

Together we can create an evening to bring that dream into being. Whether it’s a special date for you, a cause you want to support, a gathering to honour or celebrate family or friend, a change in your life, we can build a sacred and beautiful evening leading toward the gifts of the Firewalk.

Charities you hold dear.

In 2022 I held a private Firewalk in an Essex back garden to raise money for dementia training for the staff of a care home. Not only was enough raised to cover the training but there was money left over to fund a tea party for the staff and residents of the home. From one person’s vision and a small number of eager friends so much was achieved.

Events which hold meaning for you.

I can arrange with you to hold a Firewalk for whatever you want to celebrate. What about a birthday Firewalk, engagement, wedding, or just because life is worth celebrating?

Honouring the sacred feminine.

For women progressing from one stage of life to another then a Firewalk can be combined with ceremony to honour and celebrate that momentous transit.
