Your spiritual journey

Are you beginning to feel there needs to be more to your life?

Are you approaching or going through the menopause and ready to become an elder in the community?

Are you already exploring and want to share your experiences, be listened to, cheered on and have someone who believes in you?

First let me tell you how I found my journey and then how I can be of assistance to you in yours.

There were 3 phases to my own spiritual journey:

Phase 1 – I am more than my mind.

The first was when I realised how my life was unbalanced. Logic and analytical ability had fuelled my career and, to a large extent, my life. It was time to bring in the creative, the illogical, the inexplicable and return my life to balance. I started attending workshops and courses where I went on shamanic journeys, danced to the choreography of my own heart and body and explored this new way of living .

Phase 2 – I am becoming a strong and grounded older woman

Then menopause happened: I looked around at the UK situation for older women – didn’t like it – decided not to accept it and went in search of belief systems that celebrated this new phase of life. I found them! I researched and then shared indigenous ways of honouring older women, Elders, Grandmothers, Hags and Crones; went on a weekend course in the Scottish highlands to explore the sacred feminine, took up Firewalking and eventually travelled with other firewalkers to Peru, to visit sacred sites in the Andes in the company of Q’ero shamen, travelled down the Rio Tambopata in the Amazon to a derelict camp and explored the ceremonies and knowledge of an amazonian shaman.

Phase 3 – there is magic in this world which brings bliss

In Peru I took another step. I experienced worlds bigger than I had known or imagined, where we are connected to Spirit, to all around us and so I studied shamanism with one main teacher and lots of other workshops rounding out my experience.

And now –

Now I’ve weaved together my experiences to date, continue to weave as I learn and grow creating a never-ending spiritual tapestry and I want to share and support you in your spiritual journey.

What about you?

Are you beginning to yearn for a wider deeper experience of life. One where you find a more fulfilling role, where you feel stretched and used to a purpose. Welcome to the most exciting, exasperating and rewarding journey I know.

I believe each person’s journey is their own however that journey is a little easier with company from time to time. A companion who leaves you free to take your own path and is there to offer their experience or knowledge where it is of help. It’s the difference between climbing a rocky path in unknown territory by yourself and doing it with a friend who maybe has walked that path or one like it many times before. Meet your Periglour. The welsh word originally for a soul friend or spiritual companion, in Gaelic Anam Cara. A person who is by your side as you explore your own spirituality.

Then contact me and let’s discuss how I can be your periglour.

Ceremonies and celebrations!!

Here in the UK we still remember some of the old rites of passage: 18th birthdays, weddings, other major birthdays and of course, when someone passes we hold ceremony to say goodbye and thank you.

I can work with you to create beautiful ceremonies for anything you want to celebrate: a birthday, change of life, a letting go. Make your celebration a moving and powerful statement about you and a blissful connection with spirit.
