Heart and Fire

On Saturday the 2oth October at the Clophill Centre we will be ceremonially preparing for the forthcoming Celtic New Year.
 

For our ancestors the end of October/ beginning of November was a time of cleansing and feasting. Known as Samhein or Nos Galon Gaeaf it celebrates the start of a New Year. We'll gather in ceremony to light the fire and then journey within to open up our hearts.

	Allow the feelings that no longer serve you to drop away;
	Find a willingness and acceptance of the abundance around us;
	Connect with the loving spirit that is you and with your true vision.

Then, as the fire calls us, we'll dance, drum and walk the Samhein Fire.

Since forever we have used the energy of the firewalk to cleanse our bodies and minds, to empower our intentions, for thanksgiving and celebration. Step out onto the fire and enable the elemental powers to enrich your life.

Bring a cushion and blanket for the journey and a drum if you wish to drum round the fire.

This workshop is free for participants in the Spirited Weekend which is also happening on the 20th/21st October at the Centre.
